Trenchless Moling & No-Dig Water Main Installation
GC Maintenance specialise in trenchless moling installations for underground water mains across Kent and South East London.
Trenchless Moling & No-Dig Water Main Installation
Moling allows us to install new underground pipework with minimal disruption, avoiding the need for large trenches across driveways, gardens and pathways. Most installations can be completed with only two small excavations.
Advice is based on the condition of the existing supply, access, and whether repair or full replacement makes better long-term sense.
How We Can Help
- Thames Water Approved Contractor
- Specialist moling equipment
- Experienced underground water main installers
- Minimal disruption approach
What Is Moling?
Moling is a trenchless installation method where a pneumatic mole machine creates an underground bore beneath the surface.
This allows us to install new water mains beneath driveways, patios, gardens, pathways, concrete and tarmac without extensive excavation works.
Benefits of Moling
Our Moling Installations
We regularly install new MDPE water mains, lead pipe replacements, upgraded 25mm and 32mm supplies, and trenchless water supply upgrades.
Typical installations include boundary box to internal stopcock, garage supplies, kitchen upgrades, utility room connections and full mains conversions.
Modern Pipework Upgrades
Older lead and galvanised pipework can severely restrict water flow and pressure.
We install modern WRAS-approved MDPE pipework designed for long-term reliability and improved performance.
Where beneficial, we can also upgrade pipe sizing to improve water pressure, flow rates, multi-bathroom performance and combi boiler supply.
